IPECS Voicemail Service

 

This service is of use to companies that do not have access to an SMTP server or service
and want to use the Voicemail to Email services available on all LG-Ericsson IPECS telephone systems.
Our servers are hosted in a Secure, Tier-1 Data-centre with a 100Mbps connection to the internet,
which provides a highly reliable, cost effective solution.

How does it work?

Once you choose a plan and complete payment and system registration you will be provided with the
access codes and necessary programming help sheets to set-up your IPECS with Voicemail to Email
Once complete, users who want to receive an email (with a .wav attachment for each voicemail they
receive in their mailbox) simply enter their email address via thier extensions settings website.

When a Voicemail is left in the mailbox on the IPECS the IPECS automatically logs, compresses,
formats, and sends the message to our servers. We then pass the email through to your existing
email account for collection via your normal methods (such as on iPhone, Android, iPad,
Blackberry, Smartphone, laptop and desktop computers).

Some fair use terms:

  • Accounts are based on a single company, and can not be shared
  • If authentication details are shared and used by more than one company directly, then the account will be closed without refund.
  • Fair use limits apply :
    • We have monitoring tools that count the number of times our service is accessed
    • We may throttle high bandwidth demands to guarentee fair access for all our users
  • Messages are stored on our servers whilst in transit to their destinations, but are not kept beyond this.
